The camouflage is perfect, yet your clever eye distinguishes the creature well. I see cooking has not interfered with your ability to get the perfect angle. Many blessings with my words of good choice.

So clear Pierre. It's been a long time since I have seen your work and it continues to get better. Is there no end. Your choice of ducks position works nicely with the head cocked just so.i look forward to seeing more of your works.

You have become what I feel, is a professional of the highest degree in capturing birds and even mammals and rodents, in the state of flying. Your images borderline on the best done in this area.

Good morn from the US Ivan. I too have been peeking in now and then, but nary a word from Ram to me.

A most worthy entry and refreshing to see proper notes. How it should show the way to the youngsters. And mixed with pure on topic picture is a double winner for those who like learning the proper way to photograph and present.
Cheers around.

Loved it as usual. Anything to do with flight. I still cannot figure out how a bumble bee flies against Laws of Thermodynamics

Well you gave your critiques what they wanted and this is fine of course, however I liked the other one so much I would like to use it in my special file with explanations from my 50 years in photography why everything doesn't have to look the same. Photography is an art which you have perfected good sir.

Superior notes. You know I think I see the eyes, but my iPad may be doing this picture an injustice. Even so, I am left wondering if you could manipulate the eyes up? A seemingly impossible task with the colors so closely matched I know. I do this shot and suffer same situation. My solution might violate rules of nature so I had better not say.

Excellent focus for such a full frame. Either you have come to be highly qualified in close up flight or you got a piece of luck sir. Either way it is an interesting perspective! I am impressed.

Before the large farm on which I was living on in Woodland Cal was torn down for development, we had many of these in tall untrodden grasses. It was fun to watch them up and down so very high.

Your image certainly shows the beast close in. No way could I get that close. I do have some VHS of them jumping however. I really appreciate you jogging my memory...and yes it might be an identical cousin. Not sure...Good to see you posts.
