This was taken from my room at Mfue Lodge. The Egret took off just as I snapped the shot. I think sharpness is spot on except the nose is slightly outside.

Sharpness and Saturation increased in DPP. Original framing.

Hi Staale,
this is a very nice dynamic scene of the egret's take off.I like all of the action you have captured and the muddy water trailing behind the bird adds to the dynamic overall.The light looks a little muted but that in no way hurts the photo as it looks well exposed and on the bird where it counts the most.I haven't ever seen an egret in the wild but it sures looks somewhat like a heron which I have seen and photoed,very nice indeed.Thanks for sharing this wonderful image with us all.
