Hello Jitti,
A very fine sharp capture of this skipper, taken from a great POV and showing its proboscis in action against a pleasing OOF natural BG.
I suugest that it could be the Chocolate Demon, Ancistroides nigrita, but I'm not sure.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan
hello Jitti!
I like this capture, that shows this skipper (like a fisherman who runs the fishing line), and eats with his tiny but long pipe ,between the red flowers.....
excellent sharp....
best regards sERGIO
Hi Jitti,
what a surprisingly long proboscis! That species of skippers seems to be perfectly adapted to that kind of elongated blossoms it is visiting.
Very clear, precisely detailed capture from a most favourable point of view. For composition, I might feel tempted to crop a substancial part from the left, allowing to present the flower and its visitor at larger frame filling size.
Thank you!
With best regards,
Peter
