Hola Jeff
Una imagen muy bonita y entrañable. Este zorro artico siempre lo había visto en los documentales con el pelo blanco y en epoca de nieve, nunca con este pelaje.
Perefecta composición y nitidez. Felicidades.
Un saludo de Antonio

Hi Jeff
Wonderful capture and pose of this Arctic Fox, he sure is cute. I like the way he is looking right at you with his soft brown eyes. Excellent POV and DOF, colour and lighting. Great notes too...It's sad to know in Finland there are only 120 adults.

Hi Jeff,
this sure is a beautiful shot of the wee fox and dull light atmosphere really looks good as it gives the colours a pleasant muted look, soft like a fox's fur if you will.I like the way you have cropped and centered the fox in this frame,it works very well and proves the "rule of thirds" doesn't always apply to the main subject and still it looks very nicely balanced.I enjoy the sight of this fox very much and thank you sharing it with us all.120 adult individuals seems like such a tiny population for three countries and that doesn't bode well for the species so endangered from extirpation,I hope they will always be!I have seen well more than 120 foxes just in the last 10 years and even so I can't get enough of them.I hope time and tide will find me up in the arctic and give me a chance to observe and photo these tough little dogs of the far north.

Hi Jeff!
Great moment, with perfect details, sharpness! I like his fur! Obviously he is changing his winter coat into the "Spring-summer" fashion collection! :-))

Hallo Jeff
These Arctic Foxes are beautiful and because they are not featured on the site so often as some of the other mammals is reason to appreciate this image more. Details like the colour and expression in the eyes, the fluffiness in the ears and the thick fur on the tail is well photographed and seen. The feeling of tenderness is brought across looking at this image, and the direct eye contact is stunning. I cannot let this image pass without adding it to my favourites. Thanks for sharing, as well as for interesting note. It is much appreciated. Best regards.
Anna
Jeff,
What a perfect capture. You worked well with the shadowy light, and managed to keep the whole fox in focus while softening the backround. The marbled backround is a perfect contract to this fuzzy almost pokey looking little guy. The eye contact is exquisit, not chilling like in some animals, but deep and warming.
Great note! Looking forward to more greenland shots to come!
