Yes, nature always will surprise every person with open eyes. Dragonflies are best examples. So many muscles, veins, precisely constructed parts of wings and big eyes. And everything work together perfectly, much better than any machine made by human. Your picture shows it in beautifull way.

Terrific macro shot. Fantastic details. Great use of extreme macro lens. I like almost smallest aperture value, very impressive pOV and framing, wonderful coolurful subject (both dragonfly and flowers) and excellent flash work. Bravo. Extraordinary work. My compliments.

Hello Robi,
It is somehow a bit a 'wild' photo;-).
'cause there are a lot of colors involved and the close up is quite unusual.
I agree you can see very well how things are connected. Maybe useful for researchers to study this through for example your image...

This almost seems like an abstract master piece.
The macro worked great in revealing the complex details of the insect's body and wing's base.
