Order: Hétéroptères. Family: Pentatomes. Latin Name: Graphosoma italicum or G.lineatum. Also called Graphosome or Scutellère striped, the bug harlequin nourishes sap of the umbelliferes and other plants of the hot areas. The larva is supervised until after the blossoming by the mother. Its sharp colouring is characteristic of the toxic insects. These toxins are secreted besides by same the glands which produce the bad smells of the other bugs. A predator seeing this code of color prefers to go its way. Characteristics: alternation characteristic of the red and black bands, rostre. Medium: umbelliferes of the hot zones

Belle macro.

Hi Didier,
Brillian macro!
Beautiful colour, good composition, excellent frame.
TFS!

Hello Didier, This is very well composed with vivid colors and a great POV. Very good DOF and details. I use a remote wired shutter release for my small insects like this. It really helps when you get down to these very low shutter-speeds. Well done!

Hi Didier,

Again a very good picture.
It is very coloured (too?)
Maybe this time the composition with the empty left site is not so strong.

Any way good work,

Thansk, Hendrik

Didier, I have the feeling that sharpness could be a little bit better, but, anyway, that's a great shot.

Excellent pov, composition and colors. I like the bg too.
