Nice capture of those two, the colours are very good and the exposure is almost very good, the white on the neck, especially on the right are over exposed.
I think that you needed to 'open' the frame a little bit to the right.

Light conditions were good. Pic is crisp clear and colors are great. I tried several times to get grebs with the young chicks but no result. Gefeliciteerd.

Lovely, this ought to be a painting by an old dutch master.
As a biologist I tend to fight these associations, but this photo is overflowing with emotions.
This and that this species was for most of my life my favorite bird make this picture very special for me.
