Nice shot! I like the way you've isolated this birch with your narrow DOF - and the lighting is perfect too. If I were to suggest anything I'd have tried either taking this closer to the tree or from a higher viewpoint - I feel that the out of focus grass covers too much of the base of the trunk. Anyway, that said it's a very nice capture - good work :-D
P.S. Welcome to TrekNature!

Welcome on TN Leon and what a nice first post. The colours are excellent. The dof/sharpness is very good and the composition excellent too with the tree out of centre. Very pleasant to look at - would be great in poster-size framed on a wall.

What an introduction to Trek Nature, Leon! That's a real beauty!!! You have an artist soul, it shows. (What is the little clear blue dot on the end of a branch at about middle height on the left side of the tree? Just curious...). Thanks a lot for posting. This goes to my favorites.

Intéressant. Le premier plan flou renforce la composition. Bravo

Gorgeous shot, agree with sergegagne that a little more height would have helped, but its not always possible.
