This was taken a few days ago in river forest near river Tisa. Again, my pet european tree frog, unfortunately this time running from the large flood thad has flooded whole forest to the tree tops.
People tried to save the wildlife and themselves by building the sand-bags wall, I was there and found her.

The European tree frogs (some members of the genus Hyla) are small frogs that can grow to 5 cm in size at most. They are the only members of the widespread tree frog family (Hylidae) indigenous to Mainland Europe. Characteristic are the discs on the frog's toes which it uses to climb trees and hedges. They are very sticky, so the frog can litterarly climb the glass.tree frogs actually don't live in forests, but rather prefer sunny forest edges, bushy heaths, wet dune pans, wet scrubland and extensively used meadows and parks with ponds rich in submerged vegetation without fish nearby. These habitats are increasingly influenced by human activity. Hyla arborea, the common tree frog, is endangered in western Europe (nearly extinct in Belgium) while the more common Mediterranean tree frog lives in wet gardens, treegarths, vineyards, campings, and near pine trees.

Hi Tanja
You do have a way with animals. Very nice saturated color, excellent exposure and sharp focus. There seems to be a lot of extra background on the top and right - I posted a workshop. TFS.

Hi Tanja,
She is so small! An amazing little creature, and she seems to be ok just sitting on your finger. A great one-handed shot, lovely colour and detail. too. An interesting note, It's sad that the wildlife is suffering because of the flood.
Regards,
Adrian
