Mistle Thrush (Turdus viscivorus)

As you can see in the previous photo, this was taken exactly a week later. So the young birds are less than seven days old. As I walk the mountains just in weekends I could not shots them anymore, as they flew in the middle of the next week.

Take a look to the WS to see the whole nest.

Hola, Jose!
A remarkable portrait of these "basket"-kids! It's been a great ordeal to climb to the tree, was it?
Great!

Hola Pepe.

Hi Jose,
So cute you want to pick them up and cuddle them. It is amazing how fast they mature and leave the nest. Great job handling the filtered sunlit exposure here. Always worth extra points in my book for any baby animal shots. well done!

Hello Jose !
These little things are so cute ! I had found a nest in spring, but it was destroyed and I never saw any babay bird, you were more luck than me ! :-) Such a pity that you won't be able to take more pics of them ! Details, POV, composition are excellent. Very well done !

Bonjour,
Petit oiseau deviendra grand ...
Bonne journée.

Thrilled to see the eggs having turned into living creatures, Jose.
They seem to be asleep in this picture, huddled together, like all new-born babies.
Fantastic picture, indeed!
Pity you could not maintain a record of their growth and final flight.
TFS, my friend.

Hola Jose,

Dear Jose,
The capture of those sharply tender colours on the chicks are simply AMAZING. Your dedication to this art says LOUD & CLEAR: "I LOVE THIS." LOVE the "sunshine"
on the nest & birdies.
GREAT JOB.
Warm regards,
Mario.

Nice shot of this nest Jose,
Very good sharp detail, DOF, and POV.
Yes they look very young, but they develop very fast too :)
Well done & TFS!
