Again, I can't avoid returning to one of my favourite subjects, Slime moulds.

This fruiting bodies are about 2-3 mm. high, and I call this kind of shots "panoramic macros" :)

We already have a nice collection of slime moulds in TN. Slime moulds are strange creatures, there are not many visible subjects that do not belong to Animal, Vegetal, Lichen ot Fungi kindoms, and this one of them.

It is a pity that Protoctista genre is totally corrupt in TN, most of the posts classified under Protoctista are not, so it is imposible to try to browse Slime moulds through the "Protoctista" link.

To try to have them classified, I include everyone I come across in TN, under this personal theme:
Slime moulds - Myxomycetes - Protoctista in TN.
The problem is that TN is already very big and I am sure there are Protoctista posts which I have not found.
Please, if you know any other Slime mould in TN, tell me so I can include it... thanks in advance.

If you find them interesting and want to understand better this creatures, Clive´s [fungiman] WEB PAGE, has a very nice gallery and explanation about them.

Hope you like!

Hola,
JM

Hello Felipe,
What a marvellous sight you have captured in this 'panoramic macro'. These white slime fungi are new to me.
Technically this shot is perfect and the composition is excellent, as well as the dark brown cotrasting natural BG.
Well done and TFS!
Ivan

Hello Felipe and Cristina,
What a beautiful capture of this forest of white Slime Moulds! You've captured their shiny, slimy look really well and I love the light in this shot. The brown background makes them really stand out too. A brilliant composition.
Many thanks and best wishes, Ulla

I agree Felipe ...
Slime molds are most fascinating and take on a bewildering variety of forms.
It would be hard to find all the slime molds on TN .... you could try searching Slime Molds in the search bar (then click Photos when it says 'no members') I guessed you've sussed that out already though.
I have one or two good slime mold shots which I can add to your theme and have a few more yet to upload.
When I first opened this photo as it was loading I saw the top few and thought they were Coprinus disseminatus, but obviously they're not at all.
A very interesting post.
I love slime molds too.
Keep them coming.
Cheers, Steve
,,,, I just did a search under 'Slime Molds' and found 4 pages. Of course not all the shots are slime molds because the search picks out slime and mold seperately too.
There are a few good shots there though that aren't in your theme yet.
Hopefully this link will take you to the pages ....

Hi Felipe and Cristina,
Beautiful panoramic macro of this bright white fungi. Although flash was diffused the white balance is very nice. I love the composition a lot. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hola Felipe Mateo and Cristina,
the clarity and sharpness of these small subjects is impressive, You present these organisms in an attractive way. Most people would not take any notice of them. Therefore, I like that you show and introduce them here by your excellent pictures and your notes.
Best wishes, Peter

Hi, Felipe!
Thank You for the excursion into this specific and unknown world of Protoctista kingdom! The photo of slime moulds forest is really excellent!
