Teucrium is a genus of perennial plants, of the family Lamiaceae. These species are herbs, shrubs or subshrubs. They are native to the Mediterranean region. Common names for this genus include germanders.
A unique feature of this genus among Lamiaceae is that the flowers completely lack the upper lip of the corolla, although it is somewhat reduced also in other genera (Ajuga among them).
Teucrium species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including the Coleophora case-bearers C. auricella and C. chamaedriella (the latter feeds exclusively on T. chamaedrys).

Labiada arbustiva de bello aspecto grisáceo, naturalizado en el litoral mediterráneo, especialmente en el sudoeste de la Península Ibérica, existen algunas poblaciones naturalizadas en Catalunya. La foto esta tomada en la comarca del Vallès Occidental. Salutacions cordials.

Very cleary details, good light and background. In Romania it is 5 specieses of Teucrium genus (T. botrys, T. chamaedrys, T. montanum, T. polium and T. scordium). Good photo. Best regards, Cezar T.
