As I have nothing to say about this one, because I am not sure what this is, I think it is important to know what is a fungi.
FUNGI ARE NOT PLANTS !!!
Most fungi grow as tubular filaments called hyphae. An interwoven mass of hyphae is called a mycelium.
Fungi are heterotrophic. Some live as saprophytes, getting their nourishment from the surroundings (often having first digested it by secreting enzymes). They perform a crucial role in nature by decomposing dead organisms are releasing their nutrients for reuse by the living. Some live in a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship with another organism, often a plant. The association of fungus and root is called a mycorrhiza.
The plant benefits by more-efficient mineral — especially phosphorus — uptake.
The fungus benefits by the sugars translocated to the root by the plant.

THIS IS IMPORTANT:

Now we know that mushrooms are the "fruiting body" of a fine root-like network called mycelium, and that this mycelium is the actual fungal organism, we must take into account several things:
If we know some place where good edible mushrooms grow, take care of it, they are delicate, if chemichal products are aded at anytime of the year, or the soil is moved, we will be problably killing a free source of food with rich protein and with very good taste.
When picking mushrooms, always cut the "fruiting body" off at the base, and dont pull from it, we can damage the mycelium.
If we want to see the base of the mushroom only for identification or photograpic ;-) purposes, bury gently in most limited area as posible. and cut a circle around with knife before pulling from it.
If the mushroom is not eatable or old, leave them in the forest, they are just in the process of throwing spores. Let it reproduce himself.
Also an important thing is not to eat mushrooms near heavy loaded traffic ways, of industrial zones. They have the special property of taking heavy metals from ground, and plumb is present in fuel and other heavy metals in industrial proccesses.

I really like this composition, Felipe.
The shape and texture of those mushrooms are wonderful, and you captured them well with sharp details and rich colors. Very informative note.

Whatever they are, they are quite an amazing fruiting body of organisms. (Now is that correct?)
I love the frill of their skirts, and the colours. Well composed and I can see some small 'ladder ferns' growing among the mulch too. Well done F and C, TFS

Difficult night shooting, nice flashwork to bring out some great detail. These fungi stand out very well from the BG as well.
