This is another very good macro shot Andy. Great details, colors and DOF. The OFF blues and greens seen in the BG helps make this one great..Very well done!

Great macro, Andy.
Nice light, well composed, good details and colours.
IMO the flower behind the head is little disturbing, but thats just a minor nit.
Excellent post.

Good close up image, focus and exposure are good, colours are good. Only slight nit is that the body of the butterfly gets a little lost in the background.

Hi Andy, nice shot of this orange tip. I like the sun through the wings showing us a little of the orange colour. Nice details and composition, very nice work.

Nice capture Andy , well seen against the light, lots of details with out too much over exposure of the BG.
Definatly the butterfly of the moment being on the wing for only about 4 weeks. and as you say they never sit still for more than 5 seconds. TFS

Great capture, the contrast with the blue bells is really nice. The background is noisy, but I find it hard to get OOF backgrounds with the Fuji. I think thier depth of field is 'different' to that of DSLRs.

Rather fluffy butterfly ;-) I like patterns on its wing, its eye looks a bit psycho ;-) Good POV and composition, interesting note. Overall - very good work Andy!

Andy, this is such a good macro. There are so many patterns in this photo the thumbnail doesn't do it justice. It's a beautiful capture of the butterfly. Well shown.

Hi Andy,
Excellent macro shot. Shame his body blends in too well with the background and some of the detail is lost. Never mind, the colours, composition and exposure more than make up for that. Well captured. Kind regards, Vicky

A well done capture on this butterfly, Andy.
The detail, lighting, and POV are great.
I think that although the BG is a little too busy, that is nature, and I would just as soon see it with, than not at all.
Thank you for a fine posting.
