"AN AUGUST AM". A humble dedication to two friends in India.

This is a WONDERFUL world.

Best seen: Large.

Almost every very morn the sun is present before our eyes, in all its glory, to be seen from our dinning room. In April of this year it used to "rise" to the right of the tree in the centre, as evidenced below.

The following image was taken on 21st. April 2007 and entitled: "A MOVING SUN".

And here we are racing to 'progress', trying our best to travel into space with these silly little spaceships that have often collapsed and killed our astronauts wasting precious lives, time and money when in reality we ARE, "ARE" travelling in space on this marvellous Spaceship called "EARTH". We are always in a rush and before we know it we are gone in a cloud of dust. We should make the effort to enjoy the many subtle treasures such as the one you are now seeing.

What's this big rush all about?

In our constant effort to "progress" we are killing ourselves with petty wars, endless pollution and destroying this WONDERFUL world that's been 75 million years in the making.

Let's try peace and enjoy nature and each other ... for a change.

This is a humble dedication to: haraprasan Mr. Haraprasan Nayak from Byree near Cuttack, India and his Grandfather ("... And it is true. In my experience regarding my grand parents is My grandfather a retired Chief District Medical Officer and a very good surgeon now 83 yrs is still young as he is managing a farm (from where I get the photos), a health centre and a temple. He has many health issues such as Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Stone in Gallbladder, kidney is becoming gradually weak but not in bad condition so no medication, indigestion etc. etc. But till now he manages to operate hernia, piles, hydroxyl etc. minor operation successfully. We always ask him to take some rest and relax. He use to say if I relax I will die. My death is in God's hand so why should I worry. And the life goes on. So that is why I was telling you like that "if you have faith in God and lead a peaceful life and keep a young at heart attitude" then no worries will make you break...") who has been working for MANKIND inspite of his advanced age and physical ailments.

I AM THAT I AM! I know where you are coming from Mario. And may HE bless your directions in pictures. Your superb notes are as always and your pictures take on more mystic and symbolic tones in the way you present them. Your true photo-personality is coming out of it's shell...GREAT work!

Bob

Hello Mario,
An unusual composition, showing more a mood, a atmosphere than a certain subject...
Attractive colour palette, typical for this time of day...
A philosophical image!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Namastay Mario,
A beautiful capture of the morning. Very nice tranquil colors and the LP works great here. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Sincerely
Haraprasan

Wow, you gave me something to think about...not so much about space exploration but about my own life and always chasing that 'something more' when I have all I need right here. Beautiful shot - beautiful thoughts.
