Did you know?
The roar of a tiger can carry for more than 2km. Unlike most big cats, tigers enjoy water and are strong swimmers. And, if you follow this series I'll PROVE this point ... showing that even a baby tiger goes into water with the greatest of ease. Tigers also communicate by using their ears. They place them in different positions when cubs are following their mother. The white spots on the backs of their ears are thought to make signals clearer. Tigers purr like domestic cats.

Please learn more about this species right here.

Hello Mario,
Ahhh, I didn't notice the small one in the thumbnail... Aren't they cute!
Lovely colours and the fine pattern is well reproduced...
A fine composition with sharp fine details!
Greetings,
Pablo -

I am so glad there is protection for you here. It looks happy enough but perhaps it sees you differently...here kitty kitty...Very nice from a Blessed man with a large heart!
Bob

Hi Mario,
well what can I say,you have caught my eye with the year of the tiger cat(I was born in the year of the tiger).I like tigers no matter when I was born and every single one of these cats is an individual as their stripe pattern is their own.Though not called the king of beasts-they really are,so there lions!Good shot Mario and I thank you for putting these two "Kings".Your included note is very well done. Bob

I almost missed the tiny one; aren't they adorable? Nice repeating pattern with the tiger - then again, baby sorta adds that, right?

I love the moment here. There's a bit of a hotspot, but on bright sunny days, that's out of your control. I still love this, the expression, the moment with her baby by her side, and what I love most of all is that her baby is there. So many places take them away from their moms. I won't even get started there. Nicely done.

Hi Mario.
What a perfect shot you have taken. Terrific bright natural colours, amazing sunlight and impressive shadows, crisp sharpness of the image (this is my key point) and perfect strong horizontal cropping. Note is great as usual with excellent illustrations. My congratulations and TFS, my dear friend.
Alexei.
