Thanks to my EXCELLENT friend from India we have a SURE I.D. for my post. His name is Haraprasan Nayak and using the name of: haraprasan as his screen name on TN. It is definitely worth your while to visit his OUTSTANDING images.

Looks like a "male mosquito"; but, it's not.

Found this TINY TINY fellow on the door frame outside the house. Though it is about half an inch long one could pass by it and not even notice it because it's width is extremely small.

Wonder if somebody could ID this species.

This is a mayfly of some type. I don't know the exact ID but I am sure this one is a mayfly. Well captured with good details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi, dear Mario.
Excellent close-up of a very strange visitor. I have never seen this species. Despite the poor light conditions you managed to take well exposed and detailed image. POV is funny a bit, very impressive and strong horizontal cropping is so creative. My hearty wishes and kind regards.
