This image you are looking at is located on 26th. Avenue S.W. near 50th. Street in the S.W. of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

This is a GREAT city, Calgary, to live in. Its climate is dry and the winters, though, COLD COLD COLD , .... well, we always have a central heating system in place in the urban areas.... and those who don't can safely depend on the CHINOOK WINDS.

The following image was posted on the 28th. September 2006, entitled: Stunted but BEAUTIFUL.

And again on 2nd. February 2007 THE LAST TRACES OF WINTER, of the same tree.

...and look at the beautiful evergreens around the Maples..a wonderful image of colour...it is time...Now is then I shall go to work and find these...we are a bit slower down here, but it will only be in a few days as it drops into well below freezing tonight1

A beautiful colour palette! This explosion of autumn colours is very well captured. Nature normally does not disappoint us and this view you share with us is no exception.
