"NOVEMBER SILHOUETTES" of CALGARY, plus++++.

A simple dedication to Josefina Gomes, Bernardete's MOM.

I never seem to get tired of this BEAUTIFUL city of ours. Every morning it (THE SUN) rises to greet: "Hello"!!! Have a good look at the images of the collage taken on 4th.November 2008 08:34AM, one by one. Note the colours bursting out of the clouds. These images were registered EARLY in the morning BEFORE THE FULL BLAST OF THE SUNSHINE. Today, November 5th.2008 also at 08:34AM, we had our FIRST SNOWFALL of the year in the city of Calgary. Both collages are presented. Would you not love to have this scenery almost on a DAILY basis at breakfast???

Best seen ENLARGED by clicking the right bottom of the imports.

Am soooooo fortunate.

WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD!!!

Where have you been my friend...We miss your great images and lessons...this one is super in that you were able to retina enough information in smaller photos so as not to lose anything and yet you continue to teach through your extensive notes...

Hi Mario,
I like this presentation of the time of the season we are now in.The leaves are now gone from the trees and the days can still be warmish and yet as we know winter's icy grip is close at hand and most of our migratory birds are gone and still some linger on.The naked trees offer many opportunities for artistic and almost surreal photos as their forms are shown so clearly and the shapes of bird nests and hornet nests are easily spotted as well. Our wintering creatures too can be readily seen when the leaves are gone,so winter time isn't so bad after all.The 12 little photos show good colour and tree detail for their size and the only thing I wish you could of not shown are the few with power lines in them as those things are not natural but do not really take away from the overall presentation. Thanks for this unique little collection of the this time of year. Bob

Hi Mario
I like your collage of the sun rising. The colours are so soft and pretty. We sure have had many colourful sunrises and sunsets lately. I never get tired of looking at the sky.

A well chosen image for Bernardete's mom.

Hi Aires,

Indeed, the dark times are ahead of us for those who live in yhe northern hemisphere, well captured series with nice colors in the sky and silhouettes of the trees in FG,well exposed, regards

Paul

hi mario, thank you very much for this wonderful and colorful collage. the dark silhouetted trees in all photos are great.
looking outside, we have a little sun today in cologne, so we will have a nice sunset, but such a sunrise like yours i cannot remember seeing here for a longer time. best wishes & take care, thor.

Hi Aires,
While I like the idea behind these photos - November Silhouettes, I don't think the presentation does the photos justic. The colours of the skies are great, and the shapes of the different trees are interesting. But I think 12 photos in a small frame is too crowded.
Even if it's enlarged 10x or more, it would still feel messy. I think borders to seperate each photo would improve.
Also, silhouettes are more interesting if the lines are simple. The tree branches look too messy as well.
Nice effort though!
