"HOVER FLY II".

Dedicated to Haraprasan Nayak of India. He lives in कटक (Cuttack) (derived from the Sanskrit word 'Kataka', which signifies a military camp or a fort or a Government seat protected by an army) is one of the oldest cities in India and the Commerial Capital of Orissa. By the way, I too was born in India... in Goa to be exact.

By my friend, Haraprasan, in India "Hoverfly on my Finger". He has many many AMAZING IMAGES for you, BELIEVE ME. Besides being a GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER of nature he writes HIGHLY EDUCATIVE NOTES to go with his postings.

Am sure you've often seen a dog and or a cat licking itself .... to cleanliness.... however, how many of you have seen a Hoverfly doing this?????

Yes...HP is a marvel and I think that dedications are good thing..sometimes when folks least expect it and for a good reason such as this nice image...it gives others a sense of being...you do this so very well in your almost advanced lectures...I would stand in line to have you as my professor!

It is superb macro shot. All is great: rich fine colours, terrific details of the petals of the harming flowers and cute hoverfly. Amazing POV and framing of the scene. Bravo and best wishes.
