Dedicated to my "MOST BELOVED" Bernardete.

Why would an African Grey Congo be my first "click" with the new Canon that was "GIFTED" to me??? [Two sets of lenses & other accessories have also been "offered".]

WHAT A BOUNTY!!!

The African Grey Congo was the "first" click because he was closest to me when I decided to operate the new Canon. In reality, am always close to it. When we went away to Europe for 6 months I took this "talking" bird with me; that's how close we are. Oscar Roumuls is the JOY of my life. It has the ability to mimic human speech to perfection. It has an unending list in vocabulary. Sings songs like a TV star. It is FREE TO FLY OUT ANY TIME and it does from time to time; yet it returns home to me & to roost like a homing pigeon. It is BONDED to me. Hates, I mean, HATES everybody else. It handles my fingers and me in general like the delicate petals of a flower. Every body else.... WATCH OUT!!!

Have also included the "Red River Hog" from Madagascar within this series. These, also, were one of my first registers.

The Magpie & the Great Horned Owl were included in my first "takes".

The same subject.
Note the eye on both amplified Magpies.
And I did the same thing with with the
GREAT HORNED OWL.

Am SURE I shall enjoy this new toy.

What a lovely dedication to your companion and the love of your life Bernardete. I am sure she will love this image, just as much as I fancy it and the African Grey allready. This is a lovely close-up, with clear and well captured details. The grey eye is really beautiful and have an almost magnetism to it. Such a beautiful bird. The black beak is beautifully shaped and formed. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, dear Mario.
I also join to your warm greeting to Bernardete and once more congratulate you with new terrific equipment. However, I wonder what lenses you have bought with camera. I know your love to these bird. And this representation here is very cute. May be cropping is strong a little bit. However, your model must be satisfied, as we will. My warm regards and wishes to take plenty amazing true DSLR shots.
