"Old Man Winter".
It has been EXTREMELY HARSH this year and part of 2008 too.
If you watch the images carefully you will note the Winter's wrath.
Within the collage:
The left top was registered with a Sony DSC S60 at 07:17AM. Still a darkish dawn.
The left bottom was registered with a Sony DSC H9 at 08:17AM.
A beautiful dawn.
The top right was done with the EOS 5D Mark II at 08:16AM.
The sun wants to burst through.
The bottom right was also a Canon produced image done at 08:34AM.
Which do you think is the more powerful??? The Sun or the Cloudy Overcast sky.
It was the Sun that won the day. At 05:00PM, Sunday, 29th. March 2009, it, the Sun, was still burning bright with the temperature .... a balmy -1*C.
HOW WONDERFUL A DAY IT HAD BEEN.
Act II, Scene 7 from As You Like It by William Shakespeare (1600)
Blow, blow, thou winter wind.
Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen,
Because thou art not seen,
Although thy breath be rude.
Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then, heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.
Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,
That dost not bite so nigh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As friend remember'd not.
Heigh-ho! sing.... |

Well played.
A beautiful collage. Congratulations.
Best,

Hello Mario
I like your collage of snowy images. Your right, winter has been here way to long. I hope April comes in like a lamb. Hopefully the snow will all melt away next week....here's hoping.
