Barrier Lake, Alberta Canada
Barrier Lake is located at the base of the east facing mountains in Kananaskis Country. A man made lake with a dam on the north side and the Kananaskis River which runs into the lake on the south end. The lake is so beautiful in the fall, especially when there is a big blue sky and the changing colours of the leaves.
I captured this image a few weeks ago while out canoeing the lake. I liked the way the logs take your eye toward the yellow Quaking Aspens. It was a great day to take the canoe out and have a lunch on shore.

Hi Janice!
I immediately recognized your style. I like this simple, yet so pleasant picture very much. The trunks in the foreground create a fine perspective and depth of view. The colours are superb and reflect the automnal atmosphere at best.
Kind regards
Markus

Hola Janice,
estupenda y natural panorámica,
vividos colores y atractivo pov.

Hi Janice,
I like the wild untouched look of your photo a lot. The signs of fall against the saturated blue sky is wonderful and your idea of using the logs to direct the eye to it is great.
I do feel that the photo needs more sharpness and maybe even a slight rotation to the right.
TFS,
Niek
