"BIRDS IN FLIGHT". Or "BIRDS IN MOTION".

Dedicated to those who are working to bring about "PEACE ON EARTH".

There are 15 birds in motion within these series. Have not been able to identify some of the ducks about to take-off. Am sorry about that. Am hopeful that somebody out there will be kind enough to guide me.

Thanks to Bob Airhart, TN alias, bobair has stated:"...The four links you have placed in your note" birds in motion" are of the common merganser a fairly large duck that hunts in the water for fish mostly."
THANK YOU BOB.

"FLY AWAY BIRD" is a sea gull seen around the parks within our most beautiful city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
"Wiss-ka-tjon" is seen most often within the Rocky Mountains. It's a thief .... so watch out. You can read about the Canadian Gray Jay in my post called "Fearless wiss-ka-tjon".
"The Leader" is a common House Sparrow that roams our backyard daily. He is quite a character.
"Born Free" has come to eat off my hand at the Lawery Gardens Natural Area more than once. It is very tame.
"Up and Away" is another tame joker along the Bow River in Calgary Alberta Canada.
"Sea gull Take-off" This fellow... well I don't know it. Not tame... Restless.... always frightened.
"Sea gull landing" is the same bird entitled: "Born free".
"House Sparrows" both of these are males and have nested within our backyard in the nest boxes provided.
"Sea gull", "Up and Away" and this image are one and the same. Here, I'm trying a "panoramic" view of "Sea gull".
"Canadian Nutcraker" this fellow too lives off the tourists within the Rockies resort areas. It is a moocher and a glut.
"Birds in Motion". Have not ID'ed this species. They took off when a dog began to bark in the area.
"Bird in Motion". " " " " " [ ..................................."..........................................]
"Birds in Motion". There were about 12 to 15 of these.... all "grazing" the shallow end of the Bow River.
"Bird in Flight". Frightened by the dog's bark ..... they all took-off.
"A hopping Robin". This chap was trying to get me away from its nest... running here, running there, .... everywhere. It got "caught" in MID-AIR as I had the camera set on 1/1250 f/5.6, I believe, to register my subjects "IN MOTION".

Hi Mario,
this is a well taken photo with very good detail, colour and a nice in flight point of view. The four links you have placed in your note" birds in motion" are of the common merganser a fairly large duck that hunts in the water for fish mostly.A decent dull day photo that is cropped so as not to show the vignetting that happens with the use of the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM lens on the 5D camera body. How do you like the 5D?I find it to be an excellent camera myself and I wish I had got it before I bought the 1D mk III,such as life. Thanks for the share. Bob
