[Normas para las notas] Notas del fotógrafo
Trying my luck at the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls. In such places, butterflies are easier to spot and to photograph. Best to go on a bright sunny day when it is not too crowded.
This one is an Ismenius Tiger (Heliconius ismenius). In the wild, it can be found from Mexico to Ecuador.

Welcome to TN Daniel.
Beautiful first post with a pretty composition in diagonal, pleasant colors, very good sharpness and depth.
It would be advisable you extended the information of your note, with some other data on this butterfly or at least, on the conditions of the capture, including the model of used camera.

The black backgroung and the leave that fill the frame are excellent, I like them very much. I am always fascinated with this 4 leg butterflies. Maybe you cuold tell us something about them.

Welcome on TE. Great macro, very well composed, i like a lot this black background and the leave that frame the pic. Excellent capture, a bit too dark for the head of the butterfly --Black on black-- hard to see details. Did you use a flash?

Hi Daniel, welcome to TN, good picture I think this butterfly belongs to the genus Heliconius, I'm unsure about the species.

Good work, nie composition and colours. The head is a wee bit dark but not so bad.

Well done.

Bella immagine, tipica di questa farfalla, molto interessante anche la foglia che sembra vellutata!

The orange, black and green colors work very well together! The black background assists keeping the attention on the Ismenius Tiger. Stunning! The DOF & POV are excellent!
