Happy Mother's Day
|[Normas para las notas] Notas del fotógrafo|
|Hello friends, for 2018 I was decide to post more often,|
but for many reasons I post less often, after a very,
very long absence, I return to wish a Happy Mother's Day
with this souvenir photo of the single duckling and its
Mother, Mallard Ducks, from the summer of 2017 they
were and will stay my favorite birds of the pond.
1/1000s f/5.6 ISO1000 85mm (35mm eq:127mm).
« The Mallard is an excellent mother, however. She will stop
at frequent intervals to collect and brood, or warm, her young.
If surprised by an intruder, she is likely to go flapping and
squawking across the ground, as if injured. This feigned injury
may not fool a human, but undoubtedly lures predators away. »

Hi Asbed, beautiful way to celebrate the mom day with this scene typical of this month in my country ,you can find a mother duck in one of my last post. Nice pose to protect the childs and the usual top quality! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano
Well captured this Mother and little ones. Well light, even inside the feathers. Sharp and well composition.
Thanks for sharing your work with us,
Regards and have a nice week,
La végétation cadre bien le sujet. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du canard Colvert femelle et de ses canetons. La lumière fait ressortir la beauté des couleurs. Bonne journée.
Very amusing and appropriate for Mother's Day! And, of course, excellent definition, color and pose. Great picture!
Colors seem a little "washed out" due to the strong backlight, but the composition's perfect, and the photo was fitting to the event very well. I wish to see more of your recent shots, so I hope you'll return to TN pretty soon.
Kind regards from Ireland, László
