While hiking the Cliff Trail at Sherando Lake I saw this spider in the middle of the trail. The Cliff Trail is a .25 mile hike that takes hikers above Sherando Lake.

I'll be posting in days to come some photos of the other interesting life I saw while there.

Hello Michael,
You show wonderful detail and exceptional DOF in this macro image!! Sharp as a tac with very natural colors!! I've never seen a spider like this one before. I love macro shots and this one is very nice!! TFS.
