|The Ceibo is a tree, which can reach a height of 12 meters. Its leaves are composed and have a medium green color. It can be seen in squares, parks and gardens as it is widely used as an ornamental tree.|
The flower of ceibo, also denominated seibo, seÃbo or bucaré, was declared national flower of Argentina (my homeland). It is a native tree of America, especially of Argentina (zone of the littoral), Uruguay (where it is also national flower), Brazil and Paraguay.
REINO: Plants (Plantae)
SPECIES: Erytrina cristagali
It has a somewhat wavy and woody trunk, with branches with thorns.
Its leaves are composed and medium green. In addition, they are deciduous, this means that in autumnal season the leaves fall to re-grow in spring.
The scientific name of the Ceibo means red cock crest (galli crista), alluding to the shape and color of the flowers. These are deep red or red-pink, in the form of clusters and blooms from May to August.

Now this image really brightens up my day. Filled from head to toe in brilliant color and fine detail. I don't believe I have ever seen this particular flowering tree before, it is sure an eye catcher. I really like the vertical framing and the exposure is right on the button. Great shot!!
Another interesting image. Amazing red colors. Perfect details and focus as usual.
