| I was lucky to spot this little Black-Throated Blue Warbler (Dendroica caerulescens) as he migrated through Toronto area. It was very energetic and I had more than 400 shots with only 3 or 4 good one. This shot was taken in October and the bird was very busy to eat before depart to Florida. |

Hi Peter,
You were lucky indeed to see this beautiful bird and most of all, to be able to get a good picture! I have seen many Warblers this summer but as you say, they are always moving and very difficult to capture. You caught good details with beautiful lightning and nice catch-light in his eye. A less centered composition would have been nicer but it is a minor nit for such a good shot. Welcome to TN and have fun!
Claudine
These little birds ar always difficult to capturte well because they move around so quickly.
Even so,you've managed a great shot here, though I suspect your next shot will be even better ;)
Cheers
Steve
