Emerald Dragonflies are mating in wheel position. The male uses his tail to hold the back of female's head. The female curves her abdomen to reach his sperm pouch. They hold this mating position for about 15 minutes.

come sempre un taglio personale, molto originale, la composizione è gradevole anche per l'angolazione di ripresa rispetto alla luce, questa libellula non l'ho mai vista, se i riflessi metallici colorati si vedono indipendemente dal tipo di luce; molto buona anche la nitidezza in relazione al rapporto d'ingrandimento.

You have made a sepcial close-up showing very interesting colors and good sharp details of these dragonflies. Background has also very fine colors and enhaces the sharpness of the main subject.

Hi Sergio,
A very original composition with concept. Fine documentation and PoV showing the psotion of the female.
The backlight creates a certain halo around the subject and this is perhaps the first time that i 'm seeing this one so close in such details.
