Hi Ulla.
Flower is really wonderful and its little visitor too. Despite poor light conditions shot is perfectly detailed and colours look so naturally. I welcome impressive square cropping and upper POV. You managed to show us many attractive tiny details in flower heart. Small piece of the BG :) is necessary to complete the composition. Well done and kind regards. My best wishes for weekend too.

Hi Ulla. Excellent image for a-not-very-good-capture image. I like the crispy white petals with visitir on it as well. The stamens with some dropping on the petals are well exposed in details. Well cropped and hope Bayram will confirm the ID and I'm sure he would love this dedication. Regards. Jusni

It is rare that flowers are posted and I have never heard of them nor seen obviously...It has a very unique shape and colour so it should be identifiable...and of course that delicate Ulla touch of adding one with an insect:-) It's your signature!

Isn't it wonderful, Ulla, that there are so many experts on this site who can always confirm the identity of flora and fauna, no matter where it is photographed!
This is a beautiful, anemone-like flower. You have captured the colour, texture and form details so well that I am sure Bayram will be able to help you.

Hi Ulla. Not my best subject flower . But i do know a good picture of one all the same. And this is one of those . I do like the top POV so wee can see right inside. I see we have a snall insect in the shot as well . TFS.

Hi Ulla,
A honour and privilege to receive such wonderful dedication from you. It is also significant for me in two ways: because it is coming from my homeland and an esteemed photographer such as you. You can sure that I loved this beautiful perennial. It is absolutely a ranunculacean member and as i known it is an anemone (crown anemone- Anemone coronaria. Of all the spring flowers, this is surely one of most attractive one my friend!. Great details on petals, nice soft exposure and wonderful DOF as well.

Thanks for sharing this flower which you dedicated to our friend Bayram. I am sure he will appreciate this one just as much as all the other devotions. It is well deserved. Although this flower is not brightly coloured it surely has attention grabbing features. Maybe it is the big petals and the widely opened spaces in-between one another. Maybe it is the shape or the size or even the colour of the large shaped anther heads. It does not matter what it is, it surely catches the eye. I like the full frame. It brings the object so much closer to the eye. This way also one can see the details more closely, and off course this way one also cannot miss the little insect. Thanks for sharing this one from your archives.
