Hello again,

This is another shot from one of my trip to the mountains in October. Taken at about a half an hour walk from the previous post, this is a view of the entrance to the "Unguru Mare" Cave.

Some info about the place:
Found on the northern side of the "Padurea Craiului" Mountains, on the left bank of the "Crisul Repede" River, near the village of Suncuius.

The cave has electricity and it's set up for visiting under a guide's supervision.
Toll: aprox. 1$

Hope you like it and thanks for visiting :)

superb acel defileu pe crisul repede in apropiere de suncuius. am trecut si eu odata pe acolo cu trenul si am ramas uimit de cat de interesanta si deosebita este zona

Hello Horia
Curious beautiful place and marvellous capture! Very well seen and perfectly done! I love the clear water and the clear reflection.
Congratulations and thank you very much for sharing.
Best wishes
Maite

I think maybe the reflection takes a back seat to the depth of the water and well seen rocks underlying...so in that case it makes for a more complex yet still quite intriguing photo...I would love to be able and there..to explore the insides...I'll go anywhere I feel I can...but old age snick up on me...so I have to depends on younger folks with good gear as you...oh yes and a good eyes!
Bob

Thats an impressive looking entrance Horia.
I haven't heard of this cave, but I used to work as a cave guide myself at the famous Waitomo Glow Worm caves.
I have been exploring caves for over 30 years, so when I see an entrance I naturally want to know how far it goes :)
Cheers
Steve

Hi Horia.
Lovely place and wonderful shot. Its colours are nice and clean. Image is perfectly exposed and transparent. I welcome impressive portrait orientation of the image, fine composition of the shot and selection of pictured objects. Once more example of wide angle lens use. It is my weak point. I cannot travel almost at all. My heartfelt wishes and TFS.

Hi Horia,
Wonderful shot of this cave and its reflection with very impressive sharpness and details. Great handling of lighting and exposure. I like this low POV to portray the beauty of this place. Very nice composition.

Hi Horia

A really interesting posting. As this is a limestone area, it is very reminiscent of Derbyshire or the Yorkshire Dales here - does a stream emerge from of disappear into the cave? This is a typical 'karst' landscape.

Lovely composition - the trees stand out well and the reflection is great.

James

Hello Horia:-)
Very good reflections in the shallow water. Probably Toll ghosts...:-)
Seriously...a very strong composition. Apparently a beautiful place.

Now this looks like a place i'd like to explore and maybe even see for myself :o)Really like your POV mate, you made full use of that reflection here. Details are excellent. The trees partially obscuring the entrance really add to the feel of mystery - 1$ well spent i imagine!
tfs and have a good weekend my friend.

Hi Horia. This is something a bit special not to sure but it just grabs you to keep looking. Grea compostion with good detail in the rocks and refections . such clear colours with good use of the light. well done TFS.
Nick..

Have a good weekend.

This is really nice Horia. I can see I have to start experimenting with longer shutter speeds. Five seconds seems long for this light. Was it really dark there?

Hi Horia,
a nice shot of this amazing place!
I like how you've composed it with the faint reflection of the cave in the bottom half.
Loads of detail and nice and clear.
Spot-on exposure.
Great notes too... if I ever visit this cave then I will be sure to bring a dollar :-)

Well done mate.

Joe

There really is an air of mystery and intrigue about this shot, something i cant quite put my finger on.

Well composed with quite delicate colours and details.
