Crocus hymelis_01

| [Normas para las notas] Notas del fotógrafo |
Crocus hymelis, the “winter crocus” , is an early bloomer, quite common in many parts in Israel. Unlike most crocuses, it is white with characteristic deep purple stripes on he outer side of its petals. The diameter of the flower is up to 3 cm. It blooms from November (after the first rains) into January.
This one s a particularly appealing fresh bunch on the background of seedlings that sprout following the first autumn rains. |

hi Ishi,
nice composition and good light on the petals.
good details in the white flower.
Gert
Hi Ishi,
This is a very well captured picture in terms of the white balance, details and composition however some more light probably flash, may have helped however I am sure it would have takem away the shadow effets from the petals. This definately has a different look to it.

A beautiful capture indeed Ishi, a sharp and well exposed image without any over exposed white regions, and with finely rendered rich greens...Very good job my friend.

Hi Ishi,
What a beautifull photo with these nice flowers. I like very much the way you have used the light. Shadows and lighted areas give a good depth to the image. Together with the well adapted DOF flowers are nicely shown.
Thank you for sharing,
Cristian
Bonjour Ishi,

A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
