Hello Pearl !
Even with tattered wings, he's still very beautiful, I agree with you on that - I specially like those orange "eyes". Excellent details, great pose with the head down. You made good use of your flash, too, and it's nice to see some geenery around the buttefly. Very wel done !
Valérie.

Hello Pearl,
Even though this Lemon Pansy is tattered you made a fine capture taken from a great POV to show the uppersurface of the wings with good sharpness, lighting and colours.
Interesting to see the butterfly in front of it, its closed wings making it look like a dead leaf, perfect camouflage of what looks like the same species!
Nice shot, Pearl, and thanks for posting it,
Best regards,
Ivan

Hi Pearl, how's it going?
What a beautiful shot of this butterfly, Pearl! Looks very colorful and detailed. Good lighting of the subject: the use of the fill flash is really working here. Informative note.
Well done, TFS!
Best regards, Dimitri.

Greetings Pearl
It is so good to have your back and posting. Your butterfly Carries some nice natural earth tones. In its sharpness it gives a better clarity for the eye tends to the mind. Perhaps I am seeing it through the third eye. There's a deeper quality to this image. Impressive.

Hello Pearl,
It is heartening to note that you have started posting again.
Though your specimen of a Lemon Pansy is somewhat worn, it still retains its beautiful eye-spots which you have captured well from a frontal point of view.
That there is another butterfly below it would miss the notice of many unless you look for that second pair of antennae. Apparently, it is the same species showing the other side of its wings. In that respect, it is a nice and compact two-in-one picture.
TF sharing this picture and keep posting regularly.
