Hi. Peter. This sounds a place a would like to visit. You have been able to taken a fine close up of this Paper Kite Butterfly . With a goosd side view so we can see all of the wing markings. Which you have taken with fine detail and natural colours. well taken TFS.

Hello Peter,
I remember seeing an Idea species in Penang at the butterfly house and being fascinated by their slow flappy flight and I took some pictures with my analogue camera so it's nice to be reminded of that time 16 years ago by this excellent capture of one resting. The sharpness, colours and BG make a fine presentation of this butterfly.

A superb macro capture of the beautiful Paper Kite butterfly with wonderful details! I like the sharpness and POV here with great natural colors. A great contrast can be seen between the banded butterfly and green blurry BG.
