Hello Bob.
A plant that I'm not familiar with, but shown wonderfully with very fine detail and natural colors. I love the back lighting and semi blurred BG. Very interesting looking seed heads, similar in appearance to the tiny hair like seed pods found in the common dandelion.

The picture of this plant is superb. The light contrast makes it vivid and highlights the plant's shape and beauty. I also believe that the centered composition is the right choice for this subject. Your notes are interesting and deep, a welcome complement to the picture.

Wonderful lighting, shadows and highlights, Bob. Of course, detail is great. Vertical composition with the V of light and the accompanying light flare a perfect compliment to the beautiful image.

Interesting plant with its special and beautiful seeds. Well taken à contrejour, which allows to se well its radiating shape. A very old grass it is, to read your note..
I also like the melancholic verses, especially the last one.
