[Normas para las notas] Notas del fotógrafo
I took this photo early in the morning. The sun was out but it was not too sunny yet. I used 900mm zoom. A tamron 70-300 mm lens, a tamron 2x teleconverter and 1.5x from Nikon D-70. This time I kept the ISO at max i.e. 1600. No I don't have a tripod. The features of the moon are clearer than my previous photos probabliy because I used a higher shutter speed this time.
I looked at couple of other moon shots. Most of them are around f/9.0.
Next time I will reduce the apperture size. That might make the picture sharper. For now the picture looks a little fuzzy at the edges.

just now the moon is at its closest since the last time 20 years ago...its an interesting fact that the exposure for the moon is daylight settings...since you can see it during the day as well..at night it tends to get burned out due to auto exposure modes...some cameras have night-time settings but even they are wrong since they give too long an exposure when metering on the brightest areas...
your shot is very nearly sharp...could you have used a tripod??
your speed setting seems to suggest a high ASA setting? or should i read that as 8 seconds..

je suis etonné que vous ayez essayé d'ameliore cette photo.je me suis permis une retouche, a vous de voir.
