You've done a great job here Reina. Excellent sharpness and well focused where it counts. Very good detail, color and exposure. Good even POV, nice pose with the head slightly turned. Humourous & cute at the same time. Well done! Have a good week also.

I’m not 100% positive, but this looks like the "Prairie dog - Cynomys ludovicianus". You can see more pictures of it here.
Good composition and POV with nice soft colours and lighting that makes the subject look even cuddlier. DOF well balanced with sharp focus in the face and shoulder areas and OOF BG.

Hey, u seem to have done a lot of research. I plaan to buy a Nikon D-50, can u tell me what lenses should I buy for GREAT Macro as well as other shots??

About your lenses: buy both, if you do not care about resale value, buy Sigma, there are both better in terms of optic than the Nikons and they are really well built and by mail order you can get both for not very much more than the 70-200VR.

What a cute creature! Lovely preentation with good sharpness and details. I like POV - this close-up is really good. I like also contrast between animal and grey background.
On the other hand I am not sure if there are some noises visible especially on the BG or maybe it is only problem of my monitor :)
I also believe that a little longer note would be nice :)
Anyway, nice and interesting presentation!

I found this picture on your Intro page and it captured my attention immediately. You captured a very cute subject in a lovely pose and with sharp details! The eye contact is very good! The lack of distracting objects gives this photo a good impact. The colors are well reproduced and the contrast was well adjusted. Good exposure to preserve the details in both shadows and highlights! Thanks for sharing!
