|Pic taken at the Bear Lake, in the Rocky Mountain National Park, with Longs Peak (14,259 feet) in the background.|
"The paved, mostly level trail around Bear Lake is very popular. Nonetheless, it offers many opportunities for unspoiled views as well as photographs of the landscape, close-ups of patterns on tree trunks and boulders, wildlife portraits, and dramatic settings for people pictures. Around stop twelve are magnificent views across the lake to Longs Peak and the other high mountains surrounding Glacier Gorge. This perspective of Longs is best enjoyed in late afternoon. Anytime of day, however, is a wonderful time to enjoy the beauty the Bear Lake area has to offer."

It's me again. Another interesting subject but a difficult one to expose correctly because of the uneven light. If the foreground was to be exposed correctly then the mountain had to be overexposed. A graduated neutral density filter could help in the field. Some take 2 shots at different exposures and combine them on the computer. A third option is to select the overexosed area and adjust the exposure on the computer. I played with it some and will post a workshop if you'd like.

Beautifull theme beautiful place and a dream for everyone
Be more careful with your light because your eye seems to be good in landscapes like this
A magnificent view! This looks like a place I would love to visit. Just a light touch with the Burn tool would bring out the details in the mountain.
Great photo of a peaceful loaction. I agree with Evelynn and like her WS, but feel that het WS could use some noice reduction. Makes you realize how difficult to is to improve photos.
Wonderful landscape! The colors of the water are like a paint of the Van Gogh!
