Comme on dirait si bien au Québec:
"Yé complètment viré sul top ton pélican" (traduction: Il est complèment tombé sur la tête ton pélican).
L'exposition et la mise au point sont excellentes. La compositin assez bien balancée. L'eau verte est un peu dégeu mais ça peut s'arranger. J'ai fait un p'tit WS vite fait sans trop de précision pour voir une couleur différente d'eau.

N'en demeure pas moins que l'image orignale est très intéressante. Merci de partager tes images.

Just catching up with my critiques after a few days away, sorry for the delay :)

An unusual shot, well done for the good timing!
Lovely composition, but I would say it is a little oversharpened, as are some of your other photo's. Try an unsharp-mask of between 200 and 500% but a small radius, like between 0.3 and 0.5 pixels.

Salut Valerie,
special memories and photos do no necessarily depend on the camera. It depends 90 per cent on the photographers eye and imagination. Your photos are brilliant.
If you go for a SLR, take a look at the 350D rather than the 20D or the brand new 30D which offers some important improvements on the 20 D at lower price.

I love Pelicans and you show us a very nice and extraordinary beauty. TFS.
