What a beautiful butterfly and a beautiful wish.
I really like it! The colors here are strong adn well saturated - just like a Christmas tree should be :)
Also the details are nice and sharp and the exposure is very well managed.
Great POV, very good DOF and a very nice vertical composition.

Very lovely shot. Good colors and sharp focus. Compositionwise I think there is a bit too much space in the top.

First I’d like to say thanks for all the good wishes for Christmas and for the New Year. May you and your loved ones experience all the joy & happiness, good health & strength, as well as prosperity & fortune in 2007. And of course some good light on your photographs.

This is a fine capture of the monarch. I like the composition with the leaves of the plant creating steps that leads up to the butterfly clinging to the flower on the one side of the frame. The colours are great, the details are sharp, the BG is well removed and complimentary to the subject, and the exposure was well controlled.
