That explains you silence for the last couple of days. Eventhough you didn't have much luck, I do hope you enjoyed your days at the coast. The best thing, you got out of the house and into nature.
Eventhough it was not wat you were wanting, the photo is a beauty. The wonderful yellow sky is beautiful. The composition is perfect, with the shoreline taking me toward the horizon. Great job on the sharpness and the exposure, giving the surf the slight silky effect and still getting some light on the beach. You do have a few dust spots.

That usually happens...in search for a sunset and no show...
But you got a beautiful seascape anyways, I love the slow exposition and the effect on the waves.
The yellow band at the back looks great, in terms of color harmony.
The stones on the sand adds texture and elements to the composition, a very good one.
Congratulations, thanks for share and my best regards,

What a story, it seems that the sun wasn't very cooperative :) This is a beautiful scenery. I like this lightning, colors, composition and POV. Details on the rocky beach and on the water are amazing. This is really superb maybe more than a conventional sunset or sunrise, sincerely :)

what a beautiful colour that sky is! I really like the strong diagonal of the shoreline and the exposure is spot on. The groynes add a nice sense of depth too.
I love this! There's so much right about it. The composition is excellent with the water line leading us into the shot. The narrow aperture has kept detail from the pebbles in the foreground to the peer in the distance. Colours and contrast are amazing and the slight movement of the sea keeps it dynamic.
Very well done, await more great shots soon

You shouldn't be too upset...after all, this is a splendid shot. I'm not much of an expert, but i'm pretty sure that if there aren't any clouds, a good photographer (like you) can pull out some majestic landscapes...and this one here is a great example.
I've seen many landscapes that had a clear sky and they looked stunning, too, so my advice is, go out any time you can...unless it's raining :))
Oh...BTW...i really like the yellow-ish sky like this; it look terrific and the way the yellow slowly turns to dark blue, that's really awsome.
Also you managed to spice up the composition with some very nice "wooden docks" (i have no idea of their name in english...but i think you know what i'm referring to) that have a great position in the frame - near the horizon.
Further more, the lovely stones from the BG are great and attract some nice attention to this segment of the frame, plus the water and its motion have a great effect thatnks to the slow shutter speed.
All-in-all...cheer up! ;)
Bravo and TFS

Don't worry. You have created a very nice sunset picture with amazing and unique colour palette. I also like the composition of the shot, beautiful reproduction of the sea surface and rocks on the coast as well as the sharpness of the image. Lovely shot. You have not vainly leaded some evenings on seacoast. My compliments and TFS.

Though you said sunset was not easy to capture this time, you've got an absolutely power image with and astonishing cool and worm colours and horizontal and inclined lined. That makes an strong impact in me, as a conflict between the cool, near, wet sand, the far, warm sky. This two worlds connected by a mass of mysterious water...

You have hit the shutter at the right moment before everything is covered with water. I really like the color and the detail here. I wouldn't worry about having a "proper sunset" as you have captured something different here.

Fab shot and even though not quite what you had anticipated you've still come away with a great picture, lovely colour and just the right amount of that froth for the shot.
Guess that's one of landscape photography's biggest frustrations - being in the right place, all prepared and ready, making the most of the opportunities you have to go out on shoots, and then lady luck takes the day off. Typical ;-)
