| Introducción: | Hello Friends of TrekNature. My name is Peter Stoeckl. I am living in Vienna, Austria, teaching colour theory and marketing at the design department of the University of Applied Arts Vienna. TrekNature encouraged me to use a digital camera as a rewarding tool to watch and to describe our natural environment, and to share observations with others. For macro photography on extended walks into remote and undisturbed natural habitats I prefer to use a light weight compact camera with good zoom optics. And, to be ready for the unexpected, I also carry a small and slender pocket camera with me wherever I go. Thank you for visiting. *** 01.08.2008: I am going to take a several weeks' break from TN from today. Not for any reasons of discomfort there - TN is a very fine and inspiring virtual community - but just for reasons of recently having to concentrate on some time demanding research and lecturing activities closely linked to my job.
