 "THE 3/4 MOON". (8) oscarromulus
(5682) | "THE THREE QUARTER MOON".
Have often showed you the different species that visit the tiny patch of flowers we enjoy, for such a short time, in our Calgarian summers. For example the aphids, spiders, the tiny praying mantis, etc: etc:
Have also shared with you what takes place in our skies, almost every morning, during our breakfast & lunch period.
However, I had never placed THE GRAND VIEWS in the rear of our lovely residence before the world.
So, here it is: "THE THREE QUARTER MOON". It will soon become smaller & smaller until about 06:05PM 13th.November 2008 when it will show its FULL GLORY once more, A FULL MOON.
I registered this incident, first, at 09:48AM with my tiny Sony DSC H9 on 17th. October 2008 from the rear office window of our home in Calgary. I liked the result; hence, I placed the tele on to the Sony DSC H9. At about 09:50AM I photographed this one. Liked this one far better. I proceeded to crop and ENLARGE it within the DSC H9 ...... and, voila....... This WONDERFUL PIECE OF DETAILS of our satelite. You can ENLARGE IT FURTHER BY CLICKING THE RIGHT BOTTOM CORNER. |
