I have been staying at the coast for a couple of days and thought it would be a chance for me to try one of the lovely frothy water sunset shots I have seen people take. Sadly it wasn't to be. The first night there was no clouds at all and so there was no sunset. The only colour in the sky was this strange yellow glow just before the sun dropped under the horizon. The second night had a solid bank of low cloud so again there was no sunset :(

I did also go out to get a sunrise shot and found the sea had vanished into the distance. I wasn't having much luck!

Hey Karan.
I read Niek's post and thought I'd just see if I could remove the dust spots he mentioned using spot healing brush, also got rid of plane trail which you may or may not have liked. So anyway, I managed to do that and then thought I should do something more substantial! Using the shadow/highlight tool I increased the shadows by 30% and highlights by 3% to get some more detail in those pebbles and to reduce the darkness in the top right corner.
I then made a copy of the sky and ran it through Neat Image to smoothen it out some more. Flattened and that is all!
Hope you like the difference,
All the best
Simon
